@PaxRomana there is no reason to thank "Dan Jorgensen", this low was a cheap shot for some political point, if you care about animals this low is fucking useless, start by treating animals good, there are millions (not all) of animals in the meat industry there gets treated way worse. The strong opinion of banning animal sex doesn't seem to come from people there was to help animals as much as people there cannot understand/accept other peoples sexual preference.
It seems really narrow-minded and hypocritical to be outraced about animal sex and not doing the same to the meat industry for their general mistreatment of animals.

I find it strange that this myth to this day still prevails.
it was never legal in Denmark to have sex with animals. before the "new" law in 2015 it was also illegal to have sex with animals it just fall under the other laws protecting animals from any harm and mistreatment. only difference happening in 2015 was that there was politicians that wanted sex with animals to be explicit illegal rather than letting it fall under the other animal protection laws.
. The only real effect it had was publicity... if you want to celebrate any advancement in this area then in 2019 we had our first police force dedicated to animal mistreatment and harm investigation. now that was a step forward in protecting the animals.
