Oh Please, our version of santa claus is 13 creepy brothers that in the olden days were said to terrorize people 13 days before christmas, one on every night. Plus if you are naughty their troll mother will come and eat you....she also ate two of her husbands...and she owns the christmas kitten merry christmas

According to Wikipedia, the cat was used as a threat towards Icelandic farmers to pressure them to farm more because if they met the quota for their crop they would be rewarded with new clothes, thus warding away the Yule Cat. Or something like that.

Finland has got to show me how to pull a knife out of thin air...

@MarzellaMaxtron Sorry. It only works for us Finns. And it's a knife only for some northern ones. Usually it's an axe.

I'd always complain about getting clothes instead of toys or candy when I was younger... Until my mom told me about the yule cat. I stopped complaining after that
