I was reading up on Danish folk dancing, and the description "partner swapping" came up a lot. So much so that it's not unusual for women to end up with women and men with men at some point during a dance.
Also, screaming in each other's faces. There's quite a bit of that.
Danish folk dancing isn't set in stone, so it has become very common to add a bit of Russian flare to make it more entertaining to watch.
All of this can be seen in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyJSA7-KHqg
If it feels a bit slow, it speeds up at 2:26
@Ouran-After-High me too, irl too. she tends to be as offensively insane as her brother in some ways, just on the other side of the fence, but at least her efforts to get things right has risen just as much too. i hope they see soon enough that they can be great without being horrible. ^^
