It always amused me when people said, “Sister Denmark looks really cute” or “Why did you draw Sister [inset country here] so ugly!? She should be looking more like Sister Denmark!”

Because in my mind she looks like a boy, and not in a cute tomboyish way, but in a “If she wears a baggy shirt people think she’s a hot guy with long hair” way.

To get this point across better I will from now on draw her without eyelashes and breasts.

I kid you not. The wife carrying competition is very popular in Finland, though it doesn’t actually have to be your wife. And the winner gets the woman's weight in beer.

But I think Sister Sweden would be a bad candidate if the carrier was serious about winning. Too much groping and fondling would take place for the poor guy to ever reach the finishing line.

Boobs and a Joint

The two girls from SatW with the biggest boobs. I wanted to try and draw the difference between real and fake breasts.
I don’t think many people realize it, but everything about Sister Sweden is supposed to be real, from her gigantic boobs to her oversized lips.

Second picture is me sort of trolling the people who has been demanding of me that I include Holland/Netherlands in the comic.
Them: You have to include Holland! He would have tons in common with Denmark! Him and Denmark should totally get high together! Holland is known for being open-minded, gay-friendly, perverted and high all the time!

I actually have a much less...uh, suggestive comic involving the both of them in the works, because the two countries do indeed have a LOT in common, to the point of being scary. I just wanted to start the depiction of their relationship out like this, just to make sure you can never ever unsee it.

Yes, they all live in my apartment, which is why I’m not keen on drawing too many countries. It can be pure chaos. Especially when America is around, because he insists on being the centre of attention at all times.

Pussy Whipped

Oh America. You have no idea what kind of women Finland has to deal with.

I debated with myself for a long time about who should be teasing Finland. The original idea was Denmark, but I also considered Russia and even Italy. I ended up with USA for two reasons:
The next comic will have him interacting with Sister Iceland/Norway/Denmark and that way he will have been in contact with all the Nordic sisters. But also because he is pretty much just a big teenager and still a virgin, so even one of these women would have been too much for him.

Ironically the Swedish Chef is actually the Danish Chef in Germany.

Danes are not all that good at Swedish, despite the languages being quite similar.

Someone will probably ask, “Why do they keep switching between talking Swedish/Danish and English?”
The answer: So non-Swedes and non-Danes can understand what is going on, obviously.

And just to avoid an awkward situation when you meet a Dane and feels like telling him/her that you love them, Denmark is not saying “I love you” but “I love my mistress”
