So yeah, that is an actual thing in Iceland

@chaosgirl13 No! That scary thing keeps drinking our beer! It is too frighting... Some of us, don't dare to leve the fridge because of the risk that beerghost is coming!
@chaosgirl13 We didn't know either... Until it started to drink our beer!!!
There were general panic when someone started to argue that it might even go for our other alcoholic drinks!
@Ptarmigeon - It's not about burning books. It's about "buy it now or forever lose your chance to buy it". That's all it is. This is ENTIRELY a different thing than some political group "burning books" because they say something that disagrees with what they believe.
Besides, THEY published it. If they want to burn the paper and the ink of 40 books or so, it means nothing to the rest of us because it's something that THEY made in the first place. Publishers shred, burn, or otherwise dispose of un-wanted or un-needed copies of books all the time.
This particular case is a couple of guys who want you to pay attention to what it takes to publish a book. "Buy it tonight or buy it never", I guess. If you read the article, and/or pay attention the next time they make a "moon book", then I guess they will have achieved their goal of making you pay attention to what they are doing. ;)
Do that with beer and the Belgians will invade and kill you. And they will be supported by the Czechs and the Bavarians.
...
I thought a fair warning is in order.
Norway must find Spain terrifying. Here (in València) we do have a festival which we construct huge dolls and a monument and burn all in one night of explosions without end! It is called falles and always terrifies the tourists
@Pippin - I still say there should be a law saying that pineapples do not belong on a pizza. That's just an abomination that shouldn't exist in a civilized world. :P
Oh, something I have learned recently, is that people living in the southern hemisphere see the moon upside down. (Anyone living in the southern hemisphere can confirm it by looking at humon's drawing). It's freaking hilarious, especially when people in the north learn that Orion the hunter is doing a one handed cartwheel in the south
@DarkLunar91
I will check this "alternitive Orion fact" personal next month from my point of view in New Zealand. [vacation incoming, at last]
And I warn you, woe you have put me down =) I will find you, princess
@Fragger911 I'd rather you not visit Australia just to hunt me (though if you do end up visiting for less violent reasons you are more than welcome), so for you and anyone else who doubts, proof https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHzzRbw0lgI
@DarkLunar91
Thank you for the invitation, maybe next year. HUNT was a bit harsh from me, meet and chill would be more precise.
In July, I will think of you when I have my stopover in Melbourne.

@DarkLunar91 I'd love to see Orion doing a one-handed cartwheel* but it would freak me out seeing the moon's hare making Mochi** upside down
* My city is near the equator, but 10 degrees north
**Yes, that's the chinese-japanese myth of the hare-shaped silhouette on the moon, making tea (according to the chinese) or Mochi (acording to the japanese) No, I don't have any asian heritage whatsoever, I learned that watching anime XD
