South America is not North America’s invisible friend here. The Scandinavian boys just can't see him, just like North America can't see Denmark.
Few people in America know what Denmark is and surprisingly many sees Norway as the same thing as Sweden, which sounds ridicules to us over here, but I can guarantee you that if you asked random people on the streets of Scandinavia what all that land underneath America is, too many would either say “I don’t know” “Isn’t it all America?” or “Mexico?”. Or they would know it was South America, but have no idea what the countries within it was called. We know shit about South America.
And I put a link on the comic this time as many people have requested.
Oh my god. I only just now realized that when America responded with "Well..." when sarcastically asked if there were any other Americas around he was referring to the invisible South America.
@Maris your welcome ,well.. according to australia, indonesian are flat-nosed criminals, my reaction just hahaha.. Should i be proud of it? Just lol... Maybe we are
Well, that's not true. Spaniards have no problems with that, they only get upset, as us, when Americans use those terms wrongly. Spaniards are Hispanics and therefore "Latinos." The word Hispania was the Roman province where Spain is now, and those who speak Spanish are called "Hispanics" .Hispanoamerica exists because it was colonized by Spain. In fact, they are the original Hispanics. There is the Day of Hispanic Heritage, which is celebrated very warmly in Spain.
And the word "Latino" is the Spanish form of the word "Latin" which refers to everything derived from the Roman Empire and their Latin language and culture. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hispanic_America https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hispanic https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hispania
@Zenon I read that diplomatic relations betwen Denmark and America has not had in interruption since 1801 makes me wonder if Ameria just thought he was talking to his "imaginary" friend
As an american (ididntputituponmyprofileiknowokay) I can confirm that I have never heard of Denmark until I found this site,Norway and Sweden, yeah sure i'll know them, but denmark was completely BLANK.
