Knights of old

Knights of old

Driving on the left side goes back to Medieval England where Knights would ride their horses on the left side of the road so if they encountered an enemy their sword hand would be on the right side.

England has never let go of this, and is still ready to sword fight to this day.

January Mixup

Hey, we're back! We're sorry we were absent for a lot of 2023. If you relied on us for little slices of escapism we're especially sorry. We've got a few strips queued up, and hope to have 1 per week ish.

This is a mix of Australia Day on the 26th and National Bird Day on the 5th. I'm told England, while on holiday in Australia, is a huge fan of waking up and listening to Australia's birds.

HD version here.

What 2 event days in February would like to see mix together?

I like that idea that England, Scotland, and Wales all live in the same flat since Brexit.

England didn't leave the razor out.

Death of the author

Death of the author

We can’t know for sure what the Vikings thought of Jesus but he tends to look more defiant and strong-willed than suffering on the cross in their few depictions of him, suggesting they were more impressed by his ability to overcome death than anything else he did.

Please England, he taught an APE how to start fires. Why must you always be such a disapproving dad?
