Selected Version:

"It's me Faroes! We live together! I pay rent to you!"

faroes

The Faroe Islands, first introduced in The Faroes, is a self-governing island that lives with Denmark and pays rent to him. Denmark is shown to often forget/not care about Faroes, as shown in this introductory comic. This uncaring attitude towards Faroes is also shown in Not Norway, where he is punished due to Denmark sulking about losing Norway to Sweden.
As the most religious of the Nordic countries, Faroes is strongly homophobic, though it is implied in Ungodly Surprise that he is gay/bisexual himself. He is shown in this respect to be a very stubborn country; this is also seen in The Big Shame in his rather violent defence of his whale-hunting habits.
