Cute Puppy

Cute Puppy

This was inspired by this story http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/12/world/europe/12nazi.html?_r=1 of a Finn who taught his dog to do the nazi salute during World War II. The nazis did not like that.

Leaking

Leaking

I finally got around to making a comic about the whole Wiki Leaks and Julian Assange mess. :D

For those of you wondering why Australia got the role as Assange, it’s simply because Assange is Australian.

Iron Lady

Iron Lady

Yes, it’s an Angela Merkel joke. ;)

People have a tendency to confuse “big breasts” with “beautiful” so I’ll have to mention that Sister Germany is not a hottie. She's a normal looking girl who just happens to have huge scary breasts that can give you a concussion and crush a puppy to death if she wish so.

Yes, I added the moustache to make her look more scary (And to watch you freak out :XD: )

More Difficult Love

More Difficult Love

Their love is a difficult one.

If Germany and Sister Japan ever got married, you can be damn sure Netherlands and Denmark would screw up the honeymoon vacation. :XD:

I promise to post a less stupid comic tomorrow.

Tea-Party Crasher

Just invite Denmark next time, okay?

Apparently Japanese people have very high blood pressure, because that’s the only way to explain why people in anime and manga get explosive nosebleeds when they’re turned on. :XD:

I’ve had this one lying around for a long time because I kept drawing other comics that I would rather post.

Evil Flag

Evil Flag

Some time ago I talked with a German girl about the use of flags in Germany. She told me that the only time it is seen as okay to be waving the German flag is at sport events and official buildings. The rest of the time the fear of feeling national pride is too big. It is in fact so bad that some Germans even feel uncomfortable when they see other countries waving it at hotels and the like.

In Scandinavia we use our flags completely different, but it’s not like in North America where you see flags everywhere as a sign of national pride.
Every time we have a celebration of any kind we raise the flags, because here our flags doesn’t so much symbolise national pride as much as it has become a symbol of happiness, joy and having a good time. And something I haven’t seen in other countries is that we use it when celebrating birthdays. So if you walk by a house here and see 20 small flags in the front yard, it’s not because the people living there are nationalists. It just means someone is celebrating their birthday.

We even put the flags on Christmas trees like so http://www.museum-sonderjylland.dk/BILLEDERNE/web-dansk-juletrae.jpg http://naturvern.imaker.no/data/b/0/98/41/7_2701_0.jpg http://www.airynothing.com/photos/2005_Christmas_Montreal/2005_Christmas_Montreal-Thumbnails/108.jpg :XD:

Germany on Vacation

Germany on Vacation

German tourists dig deep holes in Dutch and Danish beaches and steal “Beware of Moose” signs in Sweden and Norway.

The two things have to be connected somehow, or the world no longer makes sense! D:

Suggestive Talk

Suggestive Talk

All that just to try and pick up Sister Japan. :XD:

A silly idea that didn’t deserve an entire comic.

I was talking with a German girl about how more than half of Denmark’s tourists are from Germany, and that something like 70% of the people who rent summer houses here are Germans. And if we don’t get as many Germans as usual, we start to worry we did something wrong and that the Germans no longer like us.

She said, “Aw, don’t worry. We just need to see other countries every now and then, but Germany will always love Denmark.”

And the most natural response was of course, “Don’t tell Sister America that. It does not work with her Norway/Denmark ship” :XD:

Axis Powers after the War

Axis Powers after the War

I was going though some old papers and found this. A quick sketch of Germany, Italy and Japan.
Many years has passed since the war, but not all of them have quite gotten over it yet. Luckily Germany seems to slowly be getting a bit of his pride back, though there’s still a long way to go.
