It's legal to be a prostitute in all European countries.

However in five of them it's illegal to be a customer. This was put in place partly because it's a bit of a grey area whether the prostitute is always willing or possibly forced to do it, but a customer is always willingly visiting a prostitute.

In most European countries it's perfectly legal to be both a prostitute and a customer though, but illegal to own a brothel or be a pimp. If the prostitute has to hand any of their money over to anyone else besides the government in the form of taxes, that other person is in big trouble. Here prostitutes are considered self-employed entrepreneurs.

And then there's a few countries where brothels are legal, but regulated.

No reason why specifically Canada is the customer here. I just needed a harmless dude from a country where prostitution is illegal.

The roof is on fire, eh?

The roof is on fire, eh?

During U.S.A's early history British/Canadian armed forces burned down the first White House (or Presidential Mansion as it was called). This was (in part) retaliation for American troops destroying Port Dover.

Marriage equality!! Fuck yes USA!! Congratulations!!

But is in incredibly amusing to me how people on the internet are acting like it happened to the whole world and not just the US, what with various logos changing to rainbow colors and what not.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day

England celebrates Mothering Sunday two months before Canada, Australia, and America celebrate Mother's Day. This causes much confusion on the internet.

They do. They really do. No one is impressed if you can find a photo of your favourite British actor in drag. No one.

EPIC BATTLE

EPIC BATTLE

Ah yes, Canada and Denmark's epic battle for Hans Island.

Hans Island is the smallest of three islands not far from Greenland's coast, and Canada and Denmark have been fighting over it for years.

War ships from both sides patrol the area, and when they encounter each other they...show their flags.
When the soldiers leave the ships they...take the other side's flag down and raise their own.
Sometimes they leave a bottle of whiskey too.

Quite possibly the tamest war ever, yet USA and Sweden have tried their best to make the sides hate each other. USA's media have had stories about Denmark "invading Canadian soil" and Swedish media had a few stories about it as well and later comedians called Danish politicians and pretended to be Canadian politicians.

So far it haven't really worked. :XD:
