A Big F You

Denmark really did put Greenland through a lot of shit and fucked everything up like you wouldn't believe, and today Greenland has the highest number of suicides of any country (They weren't on the list for a long time because they were counted as part of Denmark).

The girl at the end is Sami (I know, I keep changing her design, but I think I'm finally happy with it) the indigenous people of Scandinavia. They were horribly treated by Sweden and Norway and, like Greenlanders, are still subjected to ridicule, so it's no wonder they didn't adopt the Scandinavian Cross either.

Good Business

First off, of course I know Vikings didn't have horns on their helmets, but in Scandinavia it's common to use horn-helmets for silly goofy cartoons, and no-horn-helmets for serious Viking things.

Anyway, the transition from the Norse religion to Christianity was very gradual and fairly gentle compared to most other countries. For a very long time Scandinavians believed in both. To them the Christian cross looked like Thor's hammer when turned upside down, so they wore it like that as an amulet that provided both Jesus and Thor's protection.

Adult kindergarteners

Even though Sweden and Denmark fought a lot over Norway, Norway was sometimes also just used as an excuse to fight.

Swedes and Danes gotta fight, and Norway made it easier, okay? That's one of the reasons Swedes and Danes aren't as pissed at each other anymore. After Norway broke free from both of us, we couldn't come up with proper excuses to beat the shit out of each other.

Children will love it

Yes, those are mascots from a real Danish theme park. The infamous BonBon Land. Here's a link to a YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFrz7i-BneU

The park has many many mascots, but it's these more sexual ones that make the biggest impact on tourists. I went there several times as a kid (the park is mostly for children) and I remember not really thinking about the raunchy animals.
