More than you

Iceland has the highest number of almost everything per capita because they're so few people. Now they'll have the highest number of people who qualified for the World Cup too.

Let Italian men live

Let Italian men live

I learned about the Italian movement where men fight for their right to take care of themselves without being ridiculed many years ago, and it left quite an impression on me.

Cold reality shower

Cold reality shower

From the very beginning when I started making this comic Swedes and Norwegians have been telling me jokes about how weird Danish is, and how it's so weird not even Danes understand it so they have to speak Swedish or Norwegian to communicate. The Norwegian and Swedish languages are a lot closer to each other, so I can see where the joke comes from.

That's all well and good and I laughed along, until I started meeting a lot of Swedes and Norwegians at conventions and realized a lot of them honest to god think that Danes understand Norwegian and Swedish, even though Norwegians and Swedes don't understand Danish. Like, they somehow convinced themselves that the language barrier only goes one way.

So I'm here to tell you sorry, but we don't understand you either. A lot of Danes don't even understand Icelandic people when they talk Danish with an accent to us.

Baby Daddy

Baby Daddy

Something that was deeply offensive to most of the cultures the Vikings encountered was that Vikings didn't worry too much about fidelity, even the women could shag around, and their husbands happily accepted the children as their own even if they knew they weren't the father.

The reason was quite simple. Keeping a child alive was difficult back then so any child that survived was a miracle, and people wanted big families, so if your wife had a child it was your right as the husband to keep it. The other loser could mob around with one child less to his name.

What a crime to be alive

What a crime to be alive

I kid you not. There are evenings here in Denmark where there'll be nothing but Swedish crime shows on TV. You could literally be watching Swedish TV and the only difference would be the subtitles. And it's always new shows too.

I suspect they make so many crime shows they don't have enough hours in a day to show them all which is why we have to broadcast them too.
